WHAT ARE MOONSUGARS?

Several years ago, a wise friend proposed a thought ... what if the day begins when we lay our head on our pillow? We sleep, wake up and then continue our day from there.

When we close our eyes and fall into sleep, that is when we are most vulnerable. Our dreams are a way for us to process what we have experienced during our day, to prepare us to continue once we awake, rise and move forward into what's to come. Sleep is part of our rhythm, a time for the subconscious to sort through, a window to dream, a time for God to send whispers. Moonsugars are nightly meditation cards, mantra cards, affirmation cards that are custom written and hand painted, printed on a heavy stock with a soft touch.

MOONSUGARS STORY

Moonsugars developed during a very challenging and overwhelming period several years ago. Unexpected life changes were dished out one after another in a very short time (job loss, divorce, death of my sweet beast Luna) and I went into self-preservation mode. I surrounded myself with a supportive network of family, close friends, my psychologist, a ki hara & energy healing specialist, my mentor & retired Jesuit priest, peanut MnMs ... as I dove in and began dissecting the problems at their roots. I felt fortunate despite the crazy tornado (it can always be worse, right?!). A few daily rituals helped me to keep my head above the darkness. I was given some mantra cards that were helpful but they didn't resonate with me personally, so I began writing and illustrating my own. These became moonsugars
